Fruit and Honey Ricotta Toast
Ricotta Toast is a quick snack or filling meal that comes together in minutes using local ingredients. Take this basic recipe and use whatever fruit and nuts you have on hand. Ingredients
- 4 slices bread of choice. Seedy grain bread, your favorite sourdough, or everyday loaf
- 3/4 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup blueberries* fresh, or thawed from frozen
- 2 tbsp hazelnuts* or nut of choice
- 1/4 cup honey*
Instructions
- Toast bread slices in toaster, or with butter in skillet.
- Spread toasted bread slices with ricotta cheese. Top with blueberries, and hazelnuts. Drizzle with honey.
