Field Day: Organic Grains & Direct Market Meats with Kollasch Family Farm

Iowa Organic Association: Matt and Hillary Kollasch of Kollasch Family Farms will lead us on a tour of their multi-generation organic row crop and direct market meat farm. The Kollasch’s have worked hard not only to build and grown their organic crops, but they continue to innovate on their farm by integrating livestock with their organic crop production. Attendees will have a chance to learn about how their livestock benefit their organic crops, how they are building a direct market meat business, and what their farming goals are as the continue to integrate crops and livestock on their land.
