Asparagus and Bacon Quiche

  • Preheat oven to 425.
  • Place pie shell in greased pie plate.
  • Cook bacon until crisp. Cool. Crumble.
  • Cut asparagus into 1/2" pieces.
  • Fill pie shell with bacon, cheese, asparagus and onion. Season with salt & pepper.
  • Mix milk and eggs. Pour into pie shell. Brush crust with egg white.
  • Bake 15 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to 325 and bake for additional 20-25 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  • Cool 10 minutes before cutting.
