The North Iowa Local Food Coalition serves as a broad based effort to help identify and connect relationships, technical, business, and communication assets of local and regional food system development.
It is our vision that locally produced food is a key resource in keeping our communities vital and healthy.
The purpose of the NI Food Coalition is to convene partners who have common and overlapping interests and to establish connections and collaboration where our missions meet.

The Coalition meets quarterly, is coordinated by Healthy Harvest of North Iowa, and is a participant in the Iowa State University Community Food System Program, working with Courtney Long.
