Enjoy peak summertime sweet corn all year long with this freezer corn recipe shared by Ashely Coleman, from her Great Grandma Marjorie Janes. Add corn, water, salt, and sugar to a large stockpot.
Cook until a rolling boil.
Pour into cake pan and let cool completely.
Box or bag and freeze.

A note from Ashley: Making Great Grandma Marjorie Janes’ corn recipe today—freezing the remaining local sweet corn . This is an annual tradition that I have participated in for decades. From harvesting and shucking as a kid to cutting and cooking as an adult. We subbed in coconut sugar for white sugar and seasoned salt for salt.
